Yoga & Ayurvedic Services

YOGA CLASSES: A private yoga class for balancing & strengthening your body type utilizing a blend of hatha & dosha yoga. You will learn yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), & meditation (dharna). We will explore and select postures which meet your specific needs, leading you to go deeper into your commitment and practice whether you are a beginner or experienced yogi.

DOSHA CONSULTATIONS: According to Ayurveda, our nature is a unique mix of three mind/body qualities which creates our specific mental and physical characteristics.  These three qualities are called doshas. Most of us have one or two doshas which are most lively in our nature, with the remaining one(s) less significant. The three doshas are: Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water). In a dosha consultation you will take a detailed questionnaire and have a consultation.  After the consultation you will be given: your overall dominant dosha, the dosha that dominates your mind, and the dosha that dominates your body. Knowing this, I will create a personalized menu of postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), meditation, diet and lifestyle changes are designed to balance your dosha.

YOGA FOR WORK: Having over 15 years experience working in corporate america and learning to balance my wisdom of yoga into that type of working environment, I can teach you to destress.  Learn some simple yoga and ayurvedic techniques to brighten your days and create happiness and balance. I teach a 10-15 minute series of yoga poses and breathing that you can do at your desk. Also affirmations and mantras that you can use anytime, anywhere. Other features are how to ‘zen’ your office/cube, how to deal with the after lunch blues and challenging habits with food. Empower your workers to be healthier, happier, and increase productivity.

DETOX SESSIONS: Cleanse your body, mind and spirit of inner and outer toxins in a safe and guided way. Learn the best diet, postures, pranayama and lifestyle suggestions for optimum lasting results. There are so many ways to detox and I will show you the best way for your mental and physical body type. Pick from a 3-7 day detox.
